Interview Medic UniSZA 2018/2019

Okey malas nak intro. First of all nak cakap, datanglah awal kalau taknak menyesal 😕 The interview session started at 8.30 am based on the schedule. I arrived at UniSZA around 8.00 am and the front lobby was already packed ;) Datang setengah jam awal but still nombor giliran ke-87 haha. Some tips kalaulah next next year punya style interview sama lagi macam tahun ni - in case korang terlewat sikit, cari seat kosong kat depan. Kalau tak ada, cari kerusi kosong kat mana-mana & letak kat depan. Pastu duduk lah, jangan letak kerusi je k.
Boleh jadi jugak mak ayah yang duduk kat situ. So korang alert lah. Tunggu kejap kat tepi, sampai staff bagi arahan mak ayah boleh keluar, then you snatch the chair! Ceh melebih pulak haha. Tapi serius ni. Kalau waktu ni nak gerak lambat-lambat memang menangis lah. Kitorang punya penantian haritu bagai menanti bulan jatuh ke riba tau 😭
Pergerakan waktu interview tu tak perlu kot cerita. Nanti ikut je staff. Dan dokumen2 tu please double triple check dulu kat rumah. Baca betul-betul arahan dalam slip panggilan temuduga, sebab kadang ada arahan yang dalam bentuk ayat, bukan list. Ada faham?
So for the most important part, face-to-face interview session; akan ada 2 panel (I got both male interviewers btw) Interview akan dibuat dalam Bahasa Melayu & English. Kalau interviewer tu cakap melayu, jawab melayu dan sebaliknya. The interview lasted for about 15-20 minutes. Antara soalan-soalan yang diajukan :
1. Perkenalkan latar belakang diri anda
- Nama, tempat tinggal, adik-beradik, kerja mak ayah, sekolah, matrik / asasi
2. Kenapa pilih medic?
3. Macamana nak bahagikan masa antara study dengan mengulang Al-Quran?
4. Apa kelebihan hafal Quran? Tak susah ke nanti bila ambik medic nak mengulang?
- Actually they asked me these questions because I told them I memorized Al-Quran so you have to
take note (!) that the question will vary based on your answer. Kalau rajin, nak fikir awal-awal kat rumah pun boleh. "Agak-agak kalau aku jawab macam ni, apa yang interviewer akan tanya?" Like this one, I was expecting this question to be honest 😆 So when they did, I wasn't really in shock la heheh.
5. Macamana nak jaga aurat waktu kerja? Waktu emergency?
6. What do you think are the qualities that a doctor should have?
7. You are working alone at night in a clinic, far in a rural area. A Chinese male patient came but refused to be treated by you. What would you do?
8. What would you suggest to do to raise awareness on anti-vaccine people?
9. If you fail to convince those people, would you rather leave them be?
10. Scenario : Your friend, Abu involved himself with illegal drug (pil kuda). What would you do to help him?
- Scenario ni dia bagi dalam satu paper, baca depan diorang & jawab. I forgot the actual sentences tapi lebih kurang je rasanya.
Guess that is all. Hope it would help those yang akan menjalani temuduga medic UniSZA tahun-tahun hadapan. Last tips from me :
- Baca pasal isu semasa. Macam tahun ni, I prepared for vaccination & doula.
- For Muslim especially, baca sikit hukum pasal aurat bila rawat pesakit berlainan jantina. I don't know if it's just me, but my interviewers seem to care about this based on soalan-soalan yang ditanya macam nak tengok sejauh mana kita tahu hukum-hukum ni.
- Tahu basic knowledge pasal medic. Ada specialist apa dalam medic and whatsoever.
- Tahu pasal MBBS. Duration course, belajar apa dll. You're applying for that, how can you not know aite?
