A Tale of Two Sisters
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi WabarakatuhHari ini Amirah ada satu cerita dalam Bahasa Inggeris untuk kawan-kawan. Baca betul-betul dan ambil pengajaran daripada kisah yang Amirah paparkan ini, ya.
A Tale of Two SistersDarshini and Divya are twins. They are often jealous of each other. When Darshini gets first place
in class, Divya is unhappy.
"I never get any presents," says Divya.
"You won first prize in the drawing competition last week, remember?" says Mum.
Today, the twins have exciting news.
Divya : We are going to have a play at the end of the term.
Darshini : It will be "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
"So what do you girls want to be?" asks Dad.
Divya & Darshini : Snow White!
"How can you both be Snow White at once?" asks their brother, Devaraj.
Darshini : I like Snow White.
Divya : I don't like any other part.
The next day...
Teacher : The part of Snow White goes to... Divya. Darshini will play the part of Grumpy.
After back to their home, Darshini crying in her bedroom.
Mum : Cheer up! Grumpy can be a fun part to play too.
The next day, Darshini asks Divya to practise together for the play.
Divya : I'm practising with my friends.
During the practice, Darshini keeps disturbing them.
"May I borrow a pencil?"
"Can you help me with this question?"
"Divya, there is a phone call for you."
But when Divya picks up the phone, nobody is on the line.
Soon, the costumes are ready. Divya will wear a blue and yellow dress with a red ribbon. Darshini has to wear brown pants, a red shirt and a large brown hat. Later, Darshini goes up to Divya's bedroom. She want to damage Divya's Snow White dress. Suddenly, Divya enter to her bedroom..
Divya : Darshini! What are you doing?
Mum is angry with the sisters, "You should not be jealous. Sister must always help each other. Be grateful that you have someone to share things with."
"I'm sorry, Divya."
"I'm sorry too, Darshini."
After that, the twins always try to help each other. They are no longer jealous between them.
Moral : Don't be jealous of each other.
